GMod Start Script Generator

Generate Windows and Linux startup scripts for your Garry's Mod dedicated server. Fill in the form, click Generate, then copy the script for your platform.

Shown in the window title and script comment.

Windows paths

Folder where SteamCMD is installed, e.g. C:\steamcmd

Folder where the GMod server files are installed.

Linux paths

Folder where SteamCMD is installed, e.g. /home/steam/steamcmd

Folder where the GMod server files are installed.

Wraps srcds in a restart loop. Server restarts 5 seconds after stopping.

Fill in server name, map, and gamemode to generate.

Fill in the form and click Generate.

How to use

  1. 1Fill in your server details on the left.
  2. 2Click Generate to produce both scripts.
  3. 3Switch between the Windows and Linux tabs to view each script.
  4. 4Click Copy and save the file as start.bat (Windows) or start.sh (Linux).
  5. 5On Linux, run chmod +x start.sh before launching.
  6. 6Replace YOUR_GSLT_HERE with your Game Server Login Token.
